Zander is a handsome young boy - only about a year and a half old.  He is small - 11 pounds and has a beautiful red coat.  Zander is an owner surrender to a shelter in Ohio but he did not do well on the adoption floor so they asked Pixie Mamas to help him so here he is in Buffalo!
This pretty boy is crate trained and leash trained.  He LOVES walks and car rides! 
Zander also likes to play with balls, he can play fetch all day long and will be your friend forever if you throw the ball just once.  Zander is house trained and also knows some basic commands.  He is very smart! 
Zander can be nervous around other dogs- especially young rambunctious puppies!  Zander barks at them so if there is another dog in the house, it needs to be a docile one.  Zander is also scared of cats!  He will bark at them but he is a big baby and runs if they even look at him!!  It is kinda funny.  He is good with people but may need a little time initially when meeting them.  I don't think he was socialized very much in his previous life.  Zander will do OK with kids that are calm and know how to be around dogs.  He would love to be babied and loved by someone!  Please give this special dog a chance if you think you have the right home for him.  You will fall in love!
