Kiki

Kiki do you love me?  Well of course you do!  And Kiki loves everyone she meets in return.  We do not know much about her back story.  What we do know is that she needed medical attention when she was found.  It was quickly determined that Kiki was heartworm positive.  Once Kiki completed her series of heartworm injections, she was ready to travel from Texas to WNY in the hopes of starting her new life with her new forever family.  Will it be you?

Kiki is a very sweet and loving girl.  At the young age of 2, she has a long life ahead of her, but is beyond the puppy stage of chewing and midnight potty breaks.  She is nearly a perfect girl, and will fit into just about any home. If you are looking for someone who is completely in love with her family, Kiki is the one for you.  She is full of kisses for anyone who will let her.  Kiki seems to be housebroken, although accidents are always expected initially.  She is also crate trained, and gets along well with other dogs, cats, and kids.  She has only been around kids as young as 8, so we are unsure how she would be with a toddler, at this point.  Kiki is a young playful, energetic dog.  She will have burst of time where she will run and play with her toys, but then about 15 minutes later, she ready to relax on the couch in your lap.  Kiki is excellent in the car. She will lay right down in the back seat and let you chauffeur her around town.  Kiki can be a little food aggressive with other dogs, when she first meets them.  Once she realizes that the other dogs in the home won't prevent her from eating, Kiki is just fine.  It is recommended, if there are other dogs in the home, that Kiki eat in a separate room or in her crate for meals.  When it comes to people, Kiki has not exhibited any signs of aggression.  She is a true lover.  Even overnight, she has to sleep as close to her foster mama as possible. Kiki does enjoy going for walks.  Between all the smells and people that she experiences along the way, it's just so much and very exciting.  She is all over the place and tends to pull quite a bit.  We are currently working on that, but it will be up to her forever family to help become an even better companion.  Kiki is a pleaser, so she will do just about anything to make her person happy, it won't take much to correct that on walks.  Kiki has been recently groomed.  We were told that she was an excellent client but may be susceptible to razor burn because of how thin her hair is and the pinkness of her skin. If you think Kiki will be a match for your family, make sure to apply today.  We don't think this beauty will be around long.

Kiki is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and has undergone treatment for heartworm.  Kiki will need to remain on monthly heartworm preventitive for the rest of her life.  Her adoption fee is $400
