This handsome guy is Murphy - he is 4 years old and 17 pounds.  His owner became disabled and was not longer able to care for him.  Murphy is a handsome little Shih Tzu!

Murphy is a smart guy - he knows basic commands like sit and stay.  He is leash trained and house trained.  He is working on being in the crate and may need a little more time to adjust to it.  We have never tested Murphy with cats but we are told he does not like them.  He will bark at larger dogs but if given time, gets used to them.  He is fine with dogs his size.  Murphy is not a fan of small children, they grabbed and tugged at him in his former home.  Older, respectful kids are best if at all!  Murphy is good in the car and enjoys going for rides.  Murphy also really likes to go for walks. 

Murphy is now neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested neg, flea/worm treated.  Murphy has also had a dental!  Murphy has a dry eye and will need drops daily for the rest of his life.  His adoption fee is $275 - please apply on our website if you are interested in making Murphy part of your family!
