Please meet sweet Howie!  He is a 2 yr old, 14 pound Shih Tzu.  Howie was found as a stray and he was in pretty rough shape.  He was never claimed and he needed rescue to help him heal. 

Howie is a super sweet boy!  He is gently and affectionate, very happy to be warm and safe.  Howie is nicely leash trained and crate trained.  He appears to be housetrained but please expect accidents as he adjusts to a new home and routine.  Howie gets along with other dogs  - he will bark at those stranger dogs he sees out and about!  No issues with cats when tested.  Howie is a lap dog and would love to snuggle with you all day!  He is good in the car too and will love going on errands around town! 

Howie is now neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested neg, flea/worm treated too.  He was severely matted so he has been groomed too.  Howie's adoption fee is $275 - please apply online if you are interested in making Howie part of your family!

  •  We will call your vet's office for a reference - you must call them and give permission to release information to Pixie Mamas Rescue.

  • All animals breeds & ages are 'to our best our knowledge'

  • We DO NOT adopt out of state (including Canada) OR over 1 1/2 hours away from Buffalo, NY. NO exceptions. Please do not apply. (Any travel IN our adoption area is at the discretion of the foster home.)
