Please meet Smudge!  This handsome little fellow is about 8 years old, and weighs a mere 6 pounds!  He was a stray dog in the city shelter that was never claimed.  Little dogs rarely do well in that kind of setting so we are happy to help him find a new home!

Smudge has come a long way since he became a Pixie!  He is now leash trained and also house and pee pad trained!  He is a typical Chihuahua though so please expect accidents especially in the cold weather.  Smudge is fine with other little dogs but not a fan of large ones.  He enjoys playing with his foster brother, another Chihuahua!   He is fine with cats.  Older kids (teenager +) only.  Smudge would be best suited in a quieter adult home, one or two people.  He doesn't like a lot of action!  He would be a great apartment dog.  He is good in the car and enjoys going for rides.  He likes to go for walks and play in the park but is also very happy being a couch potato too!   Smudge is a special little dog that we have grown to love and are looking for a wonderful new home for him.  If you want a tiny little man in your life and have Chihuahua or small dog experience, look no further!  Here he is!

Smudge is now neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested neg, flea/worm treated.  He has also been given a dental.  His adoption fee is $200 to help offset his veterinary care.  Please apply online if you are interested in this sweet boy!
