Contact Pip's Caretaker/Foster Directly: Foster

Please meet Pip!  He is a 7 month old short hair Chihuahua that is just as sweet as can be!  he came to Pixie Mamas with his brother Chip who has already been adopted!  Pip needed a little extra time in foster care because he had a broken shoulder and it needed to heal!

Chip is just a little cutie!  He is sweet and playful.  He likes other dogs and will play with them nicely.  He also loves to snuggle up and snooze with them too!  Chip is fine with cats.  He is ok with kids as long as they are gentle and respectful to his small stature!  Chip is still a baby and needs training.  He prefers to go on a pad then outside so he will need someone to work with him on this.  It is hard on the little dogs in the winter so we understand!  Chip is crate trained but not leash trained.  His shoulder slowed down his progress.  He just learned to go upstairs and we are working on going down them next!  Chip's shoulder did not require surgery as it already started to heal when we got him in rescue.  The surgeon at Cornell recommended no surgery as that would be more pain and trauma on the little guy then really needed.  He sometimes favors his leg but we think it is more of a habit then anything else.  He is a beautiful boy that will make any Chihuahua lover swoon!

Chip is now neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and heart worm tested neg.  His adoption fee is $275 to help pay for his expensive vet bills!  Please apply online if you are interested!
