Mia Mia!  My foster favorite!  This lovely little lady is one of the sweetest dogs in our rescue!  She is a Chihuahua mix, about 13 pounds and 2 years old.  Her owner moved and surrendered her to a local shelter.  Mia was so scared there and just started to shut down - we were happy to take her in and find her a wonderful new home!

Mia is gentle and sweet.  She is very loving and affectionate.  Mia listens well and is just such a good girl.  She may be a little shy at first but quickly warms up and always is ready for some lap time!  She gets along fine with other dogs and has no issues with cats.  She is crate trained and is happy to be there at night and in the day when we need to leave her.  She is housetrained (please expect accidents as she adjusts!) .  She does really well in the yard so a fenced once would be ideal for her.  She knows basic commands and is eager to learn.  She is obedient too! She is just a great dog and will be great for a family, a good friend to a single person.
