Please meet Dougie!  He is a 6 year old pug mix - probably with chihuahua, very cute!  Dougie came to rescue because his owner lost her job and could not afford to take care of her sweet boy.  It was so hard for her to let him go and she was just heartbroken.  We promised her that we would fix him all up and find him the best home ever!

Dougie is very affectionate and sweet.  He loves to be near his person and is alwasy trying to get on my lap!  He is gentle and good with people - kids are fine as long as they are gentle with him.  He is good on a leash but if left off, he will wander so a fenced yard would be good or a very diligent dog walker!  Dougie loves to be outside and will run in the yard with the other dogs.   he is good with cats too!  Dougie is a good watch dog too.  He will let you know if someone is around outside or knocking on the door.  He is an all around good dog that would love to start a new life with a forever family!

Dougie needed alot of medical attention when he arrived.  He needed to be neutered, a hernia repaired, a dental and 2 cherry eyes fixed along with a microchip, heartworm test and additional vaccines!  He has a little dry skin so we are giving him good food and supplements and he is improving a lot!  So we got all of this done for our sweet boy.  His adoption fee is $150
