This cute boy is Oreo, a Mini Schnauzer that was surrendered to Pixie Mamas by his family due to financial issues.  He is only 9 months old and looking for his new home and family!

Oreo is a friendly dog, he likes adults and kids both!  He prefers people over other dogs initially - he is scared and a bit of a baby when he first meets dogs.  But after a little while he does much better, especially if the other dog is calm.  It seems he was not socialized much as a pup and now needs to catch up with these skills!  Oreo is afraid of cats too!! He is not aggressive - just nervous and barks.  Oreo is leash trained and house trained (please expect accidents!!).  He is ok in a crate and we are working with him on this too.  Oreo still needs work with social skills and he will need a person or family willing to help him.  Once he gets some additional training and attention, we think he is going to make a great companion!

Oreo is now neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested neg, wormed and flea treated.  He was also groomed!  Oreo's breed needs to be groomed often so please keep this in mind if you are interested in adoption.  His adoption fee is $275
