This beautiful boy is Papi - a 7 year old mini dachshund that was recently surrendered to us due to a growing family and no time fore Papi.  So Pixie Mamas agreed to take him in and find him a new home!

Papi is a sweet affectionate dog that loves to be on your lap or near your feet.  He is still playful and likes toys, especially a stuffed ball!  Papi loves to be outside so a yard would be nice but it is not required.  He LOVES to go for walks in car rides and gets very excited when he sees his leash come out!  Papi is very well trained.  He knows many commands and will happily perform them for a treat!  Papi is a typical dachshund so someone with breed experience would be great.  He is good with other dogs.    Papi is leash, house and crate trained!  He is a great little dog whose ideal home would be an older person or couple that would like a little companion.  Older, considerate kids would be fine too!  He is a plug in dog basically - no puppy issues to deal with! 

Papi is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested neg and given a dental which he needed badly.  His adoption fee is $150 to help pay for this.  Please apply online if you are interested in making this little fellow part of your family!!
