This little guy is Hugh Hefner - what a lady's man!  Hugh was found as a stray locally and the shelter felt he would be a better fit for rescue so they called us to help!

Hugh is super cute - he looks like a little mighty mouse!  His about 5 pounds, a total little love.  He has a crooked little nose(don't worry, the vet said it was just fine!) He is a square little guy - very stout!  Hugh is paper trained, he cannot do stairs so his foster mom carried him outside to do his business!  He is leash trained and crate trained too - he prefers to be gated somewhere when he is left alone though.  Hugh is still a little nervous about being picked up but he is getting better and better!  He loves other little dogs, especially chihuahuas and has no issues with his foster home's cat. 

Hugh has been diagnosed with a grade 5 heart murmur.  He is healthy though and shows no symptoms of heart failure!  Many dogs live long and healthy lives with heart murmurs - in fact we have a 16 year old dog that has a grade 6 heart murmur and she is going strong!  He is not on any medications for his murmur at this point.

Hugh Hefner is now neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heart worm tested neg, wormed AND has had a dental.  His adoption fee is $150
