3/13/11 - Alaska arrived safe and sound is now at her new foster home! She has 3 other pitties to keep her company and a new foster dad to keep everone in line! She is so happy now, it is hard to believe that she was passed by at the shelter all those months.
Alaska is leash trained and crate trained. She is good with other dogs, small & big. She does not mind cats either. Alaska is friendly to everyone!
This beautiful girl is Alaska! She was marked as Urgent at a high kill shelter after waiting for a chance at a new life for many months. Now that puppy season is starting, space was running out and so was her time. Well we have been watching this girl online, hoping she would be adopted but when that didn't happen we took her in.
Alaska will be arriving on March 11th. We will be posting more information after that but right now we know she is a 2 year old boxer/pit mix. She is sweet and affectionate and ready to begin her new life!

We will call your vet's office for a reference - you must call them and give permission to release information to Pixie Mamas Rescue.

We DO NOT adopt out of state (including Canada) OR over 1 1/2 hours away from Buffalo, NY. NO exceptions. Please do not apply. (Any travel IN our adoption area is at the discretion of the foster home.)
