3/27 update - Buddy is learning a lot in his foster home!  He can sit (verbal and hand signals).  He is doing great on a leash and goes for long walks daily!  Housetraining is coming along, there are minimal accidents but those are to be expected.  Buddy is going to be a large dog - he is smart and very trainable.  Please consider this good looking boy for your family!

This beautiful pup is Buddy!  He is a 3 month old German Shepard mix that came from a high kill shelter where puppy season has started. 

Buddy is a typical high energy pup that will need training, time and patience in his new home!  We are looking for homes where someone will be there often to help with the training process.  He will be available for adoption after 3/21 - we want to make sure all the puppies are healthy before they go to their new homes!

Buddy is neutered, up to date with age appropiate vaccines (too young for rabies!), and wormed.  His adoption fee is $300

• If you would like to adopt one of our "Pixies" you must fill out an application- it is the first step in the adoption process and we cannot move forward without a completed application.   

• We initially contact potential adopters via email with any additional questions or concerns. Please check your spam/junk folders.  

•  We will call your vet's office for a reference - you must call them and give permission to release information to Pixie Mamas Rescue.

• All animals breeds & ages are 'to our best our knowledge'

• We DO NOT adopt out of state (including Canada) OR over 1 1/2 hours away from Buffalo, NY. NO exceptions. Please do not apply. (Any travel IN our adoption area is at the discretion of the foster home.)
