Sirius is an absolute sweetheart.  Unfortunately his cuteness is hard to capture in a picture - the typical black dog syndrome!  Sirius loves to be outside and will sit with his chewie for hours!  He is very housetrained - but please expect accidents with any new dog in new situation!  Sirius really likes to be brushed and will sit nicely as he is being groomed.  He is calm but still playful - he is happy to be out of the shelter world and is waiting patiently for his new life to start in a new home!  Whoever adopts this little guy will be very happy!

Sirius is new our rescue and we are still learning about him.  He is a schnauzer mix, mostly black with some white markings.  He is 15 pounds, neutered, up to date with vaccinations and heartworm neg.  Sirius is 15 pounds and approximately 1 year old.  He is a good boy in the crate and on the leash so far!

  • If you would like to adopt one of our "Pixies" you must fill out an application- it is the first step in the adoption process and we cannot move forward without a completed application.   
 
  • We initially contact potential adopters via email with any additional questions or concerns. Please check your spam/junk folders.  

  •  We will call your vet's office for a reference - you must call them and give permission to release information to Pixie Mamas Rescue.

  • All animals breeds & ages are 'to our best our knowledge'

  • We DO NOT adopt out of state (including Canada) OR over 1 1/2 hours away from Buffalo, NY. NO exceptions. Please do not apply. (Any travel IN our adoption area is at the discretion of the foster home.)
