Meet Ziggy!

4–5‑year‑old Miniature Poodle • 10 pounds

Ziggy is a sweet little poodle boy who is just beginning his brand‑new life as a beloved pet. He came to us from a breeder and is learning all the things that come with living in a home — and he’s already making wonderful progress.

Ziggy arrived with his friend Laura and feels more confident when he has another small dog nearby, so we’d love to see him adopted into a home with a friendly canine companion. He is discovering the world one milestone at a time, including going outside and even mastering stairs — huge accomplishments for dogs with his background.

Personality & Home Needs

Ziggy is gentle, quiet-natured, and still building confidence. A calmer home will help him continue to blossom, so we recommend no children under 10. He is not aggressive at all, but the fast movement and noise of younger kids would likely overwhelm him.

He enjoys chewies and happily keeps himself busy with a cow hoof. He has also been around cats and doesn’t mind them.

Ziggy does have a big bark when he chooses to use it — you’ll definitely know he’s there.

Training

Ziggy is:

• Crate trained

• Not leash trained yet

• Working on housetraining — this will take time, patience, and consistency. He will have accidents as he adjusts. We will send him home with a belly band to help during the transition.

A fully fenced yard is required for his safety and continued progress.

He will also require regular grooming , so please keep ongoing grooming costs in mind.
