Meet Lucky!

Lucky is an adorable 1.5-year-old Miniature Pinscher weighing just 11 pounds, and he’s ready to find the loving forever home he truly deserves. Lucky came to us from a local shelter after being surrendered by his previous owner. He was very nervous and scared there, and needed a place where he could relax & blossom.  

Lucky is a true lap dog at heart and loves sitting close to his person for long, cozy cuddles. He has long legs and a playful streak—he enjoys running, climbing, and showing off his “mountain goat” skills, along with a little bit of mischievous charm. He does well with other dogs and enjoys playful canine companionship.

Lucky is still learning the ropes of pet life. He is not yet leash trained and will benefit from continued training and patience. A fully fenced yard is recommended so he can safely explore and burn off energy. Housetraining is a work in progress, as he was not trained in his previous home. Being young and freshly neutered, he may need to wear a belly band while adjusting to his new routine. He does well in a crate and finds comfort in having a safe space of his own.

Despite his rough start in life, Lucky’s loving personality shines through. With kindness, consistency, and a family willing to guide him, he is ready for a fresh start and a happy new chapter. Lucky has so much love to give and is eager to become a cherished member of his forever family.

Lucky is now neutered, up to date with core vaccines, microchipped, and tested neg. for heartworm.  His adoption fee is $475

We require that a martingale collar be used at the time of adoption. If you do not have a martingale collar, you can purchase one from Pixie Mamas for an additional $10. This requirement is in place to ensure the dog's safety and security.

• If you would like to adopt one of our "Pixies" you must fill out an application- it is the first step in the adoption process and we cannot move forward without a completed application.   

• We initially contact potential adopters via email with any additional questions or concerns. Please check your spam/junk folders.  

•  We will call your vet's office for a reference - you must call them and give permission to release information to Pixie Mamas Rescue.

• All animals breeds & ages are 'to our best our knowledge'

• We DO NOT adopt out of state (including Canada) OR over 1 1/2 hours away from Buffalo, NY. NO exceptions. Please do not apply. (Any travel IN our adoption area is at the discretion of the foster home.)
