Meet Onyx: The Sun-Loving, Snuggly Bulldog

Onyx is a three-year-old bulldog weighing 45 pounds, known for his gentle, silly, and affectionate personality. He’s the ideal companion for anyone seeking a relaxed couch buddy with a playful side. Onyx enjoys tug-of-war, chewing on his favorite bones, basking in the sunshine, and—most of all—snuggling up with his people. If you want a loyal shadow and a sofa partner, Onyx is the perfect fit.

He thrives on companionship and gets along well with his 25-pound French bulldog foster sister, though he sometimes forgets his own size during play. For homes with other pets, active supervision and gentle guidance are important to keep everyone comfortable and happy.

Onyx was lovingly surrendered to Pixie Mamas Rescue after two bladder stone surgeries. He’s recovered well, but his future family will need to support his health with a lifelong prescription diet (Hill’s Science Diet u/d). Occasional urinary accidents may happen due to residual inflammation, so patience and consistency will help him adjust.

His previous owner described Onyx as kid-friendly, though this hasn’t been observed in his foster home yet.

Above all, Onyx is a loving soul who wants a cozy spot to nap, a toy to tug, and a family to adore. With attentive care for his health and thoughtful supervision during play, Onyx will reward his forever family with unwavering loyalty, warmth, and irresistible bulldog charm.

Onyx is neutered, up to date with core vaccines, microchipped, dewormed and tested neg. for heartworm.  His adoption fee is $600

• If you would like to adopt one of our "Pixies" you must fill out an application- it is the first step in the adoption process and we cannot move forward without a completed application.   

• We initially contact potential adopters via email with any additional questions or concerns. Please check your spam/junk folders.  

•  We will call your vet's office for a reference - you must call them and give permission to release information to Pixie Mamas Rescue.

• All animals breeds & ages are 'to our best our knowledge'

• We DO NOT adopt out of state (including Canada) OR over 1 1/2 hours away from Buffalo, NY. NO exceptions. Please do not apply. (Any travel IN our adoption area is at the discretion of the foster home.)
