Kody is a 5‑year‑old miniature poodle who has traded in his breeder life for soft beds, tasty snacks, and all the love he can get. And let me tell you — this little fluff is soaking it up.
Personality: Certified Sweetheart
Kody is the definition of a gentle soul. He’s affectionate, snuggly, and will happily crawl right into your lap the moment you sit on the floor. He gives the sweetest little kisses and loves being close to his people.
He’s also a dog’s dog — he adores other pups and absolutely needs a canine buddy in his new home. He follows their lead, gains confidence from them, and feels safest when he has a furry friend nearby.
Home & Training Needs
Housetraining: He’s trying his best! Since he’s new to indoor living, he’ll still have some accidents, but he’s learning quickly with routine and patience.
Leash Training: Not yet — so he’ll need a fully fenced yard (no invisible fencing) while he learns the ropes.
Crate Training: He’s crate trained but gets upset if he can’t see another dog. He prefers being gated in a cozy spot where he can still keep an eye on his friends.
Motivated by Love… and Snacks
Kody is very food motivated and thinks dropped people food is the greatest invention of all time. Accidentally drop a crumb? Kody says: “Thank you for your service.”
✂️ Grooming Glow‑Up
He’s been professionally groomed and looks fabulous. As a poodle, he’ll need regular grooming to keep that adorable teddy‑bear look going strong.
Kody is ready to start his new life with a patient, loving family and a confident doggy sibling to show him the world isn’t so scary. With time, kindness, and a buddy by his side, this little guy is going to blossom into the happiest, silliest, most loyal companion.
Kody is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped and tested neg. for heartworm. His adoption fee is $475

If you would like to adopt one of our "Pixies" you must fill out an application- it is the first step in the adoption process and we cannot move forward without a completed application.
We initially contact potential adopters via email with any additional questions or concerns. Please check your spam/junk folders.
We will call your vet's office for a reference - you must call them and give permission to release information to Pixie Mamas Rescue.

We DO NOT adopt out of state (including Canada) OR over 1 1/2 hours away from Buffalo, NY. NO exceptions. Please do not apply. (Any travel IN our adoption area is at the discretion of the foster home.)
