Learn more about the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Meet the adorable Dawson! This sweet 3-month-old Cavapoo is on the lookout for his forever home! Dawson currently weighs about 9 pounds and will likely be around the 20 pound range when fully grown. Dawson is full of joy and loves to play! His favorite thing is being outside, where every little thing, from leaves to your shoes or even a towel, becomes a new toy for him. He’s great with other dogs and loves to have a playful wrestle. He’s also been around cats in his foster home, and he just wants to make new friends and have fun! Super friendly and sociable, Dawson loves people and is always eager for attention, often jumping up to say hello. He’s an energetic little guy, and while he’s doing well with his housetraining, remember that he’s still just a puppy, so there might be a few accidents along the way. With some continued training, he’ll grow into a fantastic companion, and he does use potty pads regularly. Dawson enjoys the freedom of a fully fenced yard in his foster home, but he hasn’t been introduced to a leash just yet. And don’t let his small size fool you—he has a big bark that matches his playful spirit! He’s been professionally groomed and will need regular grooming every few months, so just a little heads up on that extra loving care! We can't wait for you to meet him—he's ready to bring lots of joy and fun into your life! Dawson is up to date on his vaccines, microchipped, and dewormed. He will receive his rabies vaccination when he is neutered on November 25th at Operation Pets. The adopter will be responsible for taking him to this appointment. The cost of his neuter is included in the adoption fee. His adoption fee is $700 which will help with the care of all the wonderful dogs in our rescue still waiting for their forever homes or our forever fosters needs. We require that a martingale collar be used at the time of adoption. If you do not have a martingale collar, you can purchase one from Pixie Mamas for an additional $10. This requirement is in place to ensure the dog's safety and security.
