Learn more about the German Shepherd Dog. Ali is available for adoption! This gorgeous pup is a German Shepherd, born on March 20th, 2025 and will likely be over 60 pounds when fully grown. Ali is absolutely beautiful! She is smart and embodies the typical traits of a German Shepherd: loyal, curious, and affectionate. Like all puppies, she is playful, energetic, and full of mischief! It is essential that she receives training from the start to ensure she grows into a well-behaved adult dog. German Shepherds are working dogs that require both mental and physical stimulation so keeping her engaged is important. Ali is very well crate-trained and will let you know in the morning when it's time to get up! She walks nicely on a leash now and loves to go for walks in the neighborhood. She is doing remarkably well with house training, having almost no accidents. Ali has a fully fenced yard, which greatly helps with training but it is not required in her new home. She loves to play and lounge outside. You can always find her sunbathing or enjoying a chewie when the weather is good! She loves being outside and would stay out all day if she could! Ali is food motivated, which is beneficial for her basic training. She has learned sit and is learning down and paw with the help of training treats. Ali is large but is still just a puppy, and learning the ropes of being a good dog! It requires time, love, and a lot of patience! She can be a little stubborn, but she is curious and will follow the lead of another dog as well. Ali gets along well with dogs of all sizes and submissively interacts with smaller ones as she should. There are no issues with cats either. Ali loves toys and when none of her foster friends want to play anymore, she will throw a toy around by herself. She loves people too and is good with kids. And did we mention she loves to take naps on her back? She's such a beautiful girl and will make an amazing companion for all the fun adventures that lie ahead! We require that a martingale collar be used at the time of adoption. If you do not have a martingale collar, you can purchase one from Pixie Mamas for an additional $10. This requirement is in place to ensure the dog's safety and security. Ali is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated. Her adoption fee is $550
