Meet our adorable poodle, Rusty! He’s on the lookout for his forever home, and he can’t wait to find his special person. Rusty is a miniature poodle, just 2 years old and 14 pounds. After recently being released from a breeder, he’s ready to start his exciting journey as a pet, and we’re thrilled to be part of this new chapter! Rusty is such a happy and affectionate little guy! All he wants is to be by your side, showering you with kisses and love. He has a playful spirit and loves running around with his doggy pals in the yard. He’s also really smart! From the moment he came to his foster home, he’s shown a willingness to learn and please. He quickly figured out how to navigate stairs and has been doing great with potty training outside. Just keep in mind that he might need a little time to adjust in his new home! Rusty likes spending time outdoors and enjoys lounging around while his foster mom tends to her garden. You might find him right by her side, soaking up the sun or trying to help her weed! He can be a bit of a rascal too, thinking that everything within reach is a toy. So watch out for any missing socks—he might just be the sneaky sock bandit! While Rusty is crate trained, he’s still working on getting used to the leash. He’s not a fan of it yet. Right now, he’ll need a fully fenced yard to play in (no invisible fences, please). He’s also fine with cats. Rusty is a curious little fellow who is loving life and ready to become your best friend! He’s had a professional grooming and will need regular pampering every couple of months to keep him looking his best. If you’re looking for a loving companion who will bring joy to your life, Rusty might be the perfect match for you! We require that a martingale collar be used at the time of adoption. If you do not have a martingale collar, you can purchase one from Pixie Mamas for an additional $10. This requirement is in place to ensure the dog's safety and security. Rusty is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm. His adoption fee is $475
