12/16 - Kirk was adopted.  He will be going to his new home next week! 

12/1/09 - Please meet one of the cutest litters of pups ever! We were told the litter is a dachshund mix by the shelter - so they should be small.  Our best guess is anywhere around 15 pounds, some smaller some bigger.  They are all very cute  - what puppy isn't though!!  Please do not be implusive about adopting a cute little puppy - remember they are a lot of work and need training and lots of attention.  It is not just about the cute face!
The puppies will be going in to be spayed/neutered soon abd will not be adopted out until they are - so please apply now if you are interested in one of these cuties!


Kirk is a chubby little red boy with a black mask.  He is playful and friendly - he loves kids!  His current weight is just over 5 lbs and he is growing nicely!  He is an active guy that likes to get into things like any typical pup. This rolly polly pup is good buddies with Big John.   

All puppies adoption fees are $250 due to the additional vetting they require.  They will be given all age appropiate shots, spay/neutered and microcipped.  If you are interested in adopting one of the Mayflower Mutts, please fill out an application online.

  • If you would like to adopt one of our "Pixies" you must fill out an application- it is the first step in the adoption process and we cannot move forward without a completed application.   
 
  • We initially contact potential adopters via email with any additional questions or concerns. Please check your spam/junk folders.  

  •  We will call your vet's office for a reference - you must call them and give permission to release information to Pixie Mamas Rescue.

  • All animals breeds & ages are 'to our best our knowledge'

  • We DO NOT adopt out of state (including Canada) OR over 1 1/2 hours away from Buffalo, NY. NO exceptions. Please do not apply. (Any travel IN our adoption area is at the discretion of the foster home.)
