Lovely Lady Juliette!  Juliette is a senior Bulldog (Olde English we believe) that came to us from Texas.  She was found wandering the streets, bleeding profusely with a prolapsed uterus and in pretty poor shape.  Our rescue friends in Houston scooped her up and got her straight to a vet to get her new life started in the right direction.  She is now in Buffalo, looking for the right forever home to keep her safe and cared for in her golden years.  Lady Juliette is 11 years old and 65 pounds.  

Lady Juliette is a calm and collected girl who likes to take things slow. Most of her day is spent napping in her favorite spot in the house or lounging outside while her foster mom tends to the garden. Although she can manage a few steps at a time, she's not able to climb long flights of stairs. Juliette can go for short walks while on a leash, but she moves at a leisurely pace. In her foster home, Juliette has a fenced yard, but it's not a requirement for her. She seems to be house-trained, but accidents may happen as she adapts to her new surroundings and routine. Juliette goes potty outside and is taken out several times a day since her foster mom works from home. She dislikes being crated, so it's best to keep her in a gated room if necessary.

Juliette is not pushy and is happy to quietly look for pets and love. She gets along well with other dogs but prefers the company of older, more relaxed dogs over playful puppies. Juliette is also comfortable around cats. While she's good with kids, she prefers older ones who won't crawl on her or play too rough. One thing to note is that Juliette doesn't enjoy car rides and may take some time to settle down. But once she's home, she's a happy homebody who loves food and will happily keep you company in the kitchen while you cook.

Our  Lady Juliette has been cleared for adoption after being checked by the vet. Although she has some lumps and bumps due to her old age, including a mammary mass, our vet has recommended leaving them be. She is currently taking over-the-counter senior supplements and eye drops occasionally for her comfort. At this point, she doesn't require much except for a soft bed and love. Juliette is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.
