Learn more about the Basset Hound. What about Bob? Bob, Bobby, Bobert - whatever you want to call this pup, he will come running! Bob and his sister Kaylee were abandoned in a field in Texas and we were happy to bring them to NY for their new start. They look very different though - Bob may be a terrier/dachshund mix. Who knows - this dog should have a DNA test when he's adopted! Bob is short, fat and funny! He is a happy puppy and his happy go lucky way is infectious with everyone in his foster home! He is so happy playing with all his foster friends. Bob loves to be outside and always tries to be the last one in the house. He does come when he is called and also responds to his foster mom whistling for him. He is very playful and loves toys. Bob is working hard at his housetraining and doing well - please remember he is still just a puppy so more training is expected and needed. Bob has a fully fenced yard in his foster home and has started to walk on a leash but could use some more work on this skill. He appreciates positive praise and treats so this is a skill he will master in no time. He is crate trained too. He has no issues with the cats in his foster home - just puppy playfulness and curiosity. He would be great with kids. Bob is sensitive to new sounds and barks so an apartment would not be a good home for him. Bob is a typical puppy - lots of energy and lots of love! He would make an excellent family dog or a companion to someone that wants a puppy to love. He still needs training to make him a well trained dog but this grateful little boy will be worth the time and patience you put into him. Bob is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated. His adoption fee is $350.
