Say hello to Zeke!  Zeke is a young chihuahua mix - we think a year or so.  He is part of a little family of dogs living in a shed in Texas.  They are our "Z" crew pups!  

Zeke is a happy little dog, eager for attention and affection.  He is happy to run over to you when called and loves to give kisses.  He is very sweet and gentle!  Zeke is good with other dogs and is playful with them also.  He does not require another dog but if there is one in his future home, he would enjoy the company.  We don't know if Zeke ever lived in a home before coming into rescue but he sure acts like it!  He is adjusting well and is enjoying all the comforts of being inside - especially in the cold wet weather we have here!  

Zeke is eager to please and reacts well to positive reinforcement.  He loves to be told he is a good little guy.  Zeke is doing well on his housetraining but that process has just begun for him so please expect additional training and some accidents along the way.  He has a fully fenced yard in his foster home and that helps.  He is not leash trained at this point but his foster mom has started to work with him on this in the safety of the yard.  He is not afraid of the leash just not sure what to do.  We know with some time and patience he will be a champion walker in no time! Zeke has been around cats in his foster home and only barked at them initially.  Zeke is very happy when he has a chewie like a cow hoof to gnaw on - he will sit in his foster mom's office quietly enjoying the joy the hoof.  He is food motivated and gets very excited when it is treat time! 

Zeke is ready to start his new life here in Buffalo - his days of street life are over and we are very happy to be part of his journey to his happily ever after! 

Zeke is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  His adoption fee is $400
