Stormy is available for adoption!  This pretty little girl is a Westie, 5/6 years old and 14 pounds.  Stormy is recently retired from a life of breeding and is ready to be the loving pet she was always meant to be.  

Stormy has been in her foster home with Sam & Rain - she is always fun and playful with them.  She is timid in new situations, like when she first arrived and going to events.  But with a little time and patience, she starts to feel confident and her true little personality starts to shine through.  

Stormy works hard at her housetraining but also uses potty pads in her foster home.  She walks on a leash, mainly to follow her siblings but kinda wanders without really knowing what to do.  So at this point, she will require a fully fenced yard (no invisible fences) just to keep her safe and sound.  We think she will be able to walk on a leash someday with practice though.  Stormy is good with other dogs and is playful too!  She loves toys and loves to wrestle.  She loves her chewies too.  Stormy is crate trained but we prefer to gate her when it's for longer periods of time.  She can be a little mischievous too!  Stormy likes to be outdoors and has fun running around.  She is VERY interested in the cats in her foster home and barks at them through the door.  Although she has been face to face with them and has done nothing, we don't think cats in her new home would be a good idea.  She is good with kids but like we said, needs some time to adjust.  Stormy just wants to be loved and spoiled - and that's what we want for her too!

Stormy has been good when given a bath and some grooming.  We are waiting for her coat to grow out so she can get a proper Westie cut! Westies are generally low/minimal shedding dogs but need to be groomed regularly also.

Stormy is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed and tested neg. for heartworm.  Her adoption fee is $450
