Hannah Hopper is available for adoption!  This sweet little dog was found in a local park, her foot badly mangled with rubber bands tightly wrapped around her paw.  We were told she may need her leg amputated.  We quickly rushed her to our vet and got her on medications to help relieve her pain and heal her paw.  After a few weeks of healing and no further complications, she was cleared for adoption!  Hannah is a 4 year old poodle mix and weighs 9 pounds.

Hannah was definitely someone's dog at some point.  She is very affectionate and wants to be doted on by her person.  We think she lived as an only dog previously but she has slowly and surely become adjusted to living with multiple dogs.  We will likely place her as an only dog or with one other adult dog for that reason.  She deserves to be happy in her new home!  Hannah is leash trained and gets very excited if she knows she is going on a walk or a ride in the car.  If she is in the car, she should have a car seat as she really wants to be in your lap!  She is happiest when she is getting lots of love and attention!  She will play with toys and chase her tail!  Hannah appears to be housetrained with very few accidents in her foster home.  She likes to go in the same spot in the yard too.  Hannah is crate trained but prefers to be gated in a room.  She loves to cuddle with her foster mom and sleeps through the night next to her!  Hannah has not been around children in her foster home but we think older, calmer kids would be fine with her.  No issues with cats when she met them.  Hannah was very very matted when she was found.  As soon as we were able to, we got her professionally groomed and she loved it!  Hannah will need regular grooming throughout her life so please take that into consideration if you are interested in adding Hannah to your family.

Hannah is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  She has also been professionally groomed.  Her adoption fee is $450
