Little Miss Jackie is looking for her forever home!  Jackie is a Havanese mix - we believe with poodle.  She is about 6-7 years old and weighs 12 pounds.  Jackie came to us as a breeder surrender and her puppy making days are finally over!  She is so ready to be a pet and be loved loved loved!

Although Jackie spent her life in a breeder facility, she is not a typical mill dog.  She came to us quite happy and friendly and very eager for attention!  She immediately gave us kisses and let us know she was happy to finally be free!  Jackie loves to be loved and is always anywhere her foster mom is.  She is starting to learn to be a pet and we love to see the progress.  Her biggest obstacle was learning stairs and she has finally conquered going up and done with ease.  Housetraining is still a work in progress with Jackie.  She goes outside with her foster mom and will also use potty pads inside.  But she is not housetrained and will have accidents.  If you take her out often and stay with her, she will get her business done.  Jackie has also never been on a leash so she will require a fully fenced yard in her new home - no invisible or portable fences please.  We think she will be able to learn to walk on a leash one day but we want to keep her safe until then.  Jackie is good with other dogs but will often give them a little bark to back up if they are getting on her nerves.  She has not been around kids while in foster care but we think if they are at least 12+, they should be fine.  She is good in a crate too.  Jackie will require grooming throughout her life so please take that into consideration.  

Jackie is now spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  She also has had her teeth cleaned and has been professionally groomed. Her adoption fee is $450
