This pretty little girl is Tiki!  She is a 1 1/2 year old PomChi.  We don't know much about her past except that she was bounced around Craigslist to home to home until she finally arrived at Buffalo Shelter.  Tiki was terrified there and no one could touch her.  She was also very afraid of dogs in every scenario!  So who would ever take on a dog like this???  Pixie Mamas of course!  We love a good challenge and wanted to give Tiki a real chance.  

Tiki is far from perfect but boy has she come so far in the last 6 months!  Yes, sometimes it takes months and months to work with and socialize a dog.  She is still not very fond of being picked up but allows it.  She would rather crawl into your lap on her own.  Tiki is good with dogs and will do great with a young playful dog in the house!  This is amazing since she was absolutely terrified of dogs when she came to us.  She loves to play and wrestle and run around with dogs.  She does guard her chewies from other dogs but her foster mom can take anything from her.   Tiki is receptive to love and affection and enjoys attention from her foster mom.  She definitely wants to be loved and is eager to love you back.   Tiki loves to be outside and is almost always the last one in the house.  She has a fully fenced yard in her foster home and she really loves that.  She is still working on her housetraining and will also use potty pads in her foster home.  Tiki is leash trained and crate trained.  Because she is not fond of being picked up, her foster mom will not place her with young kids.  She shows little interest in the cats in her foster home. 

Because Tiki came to us so damaged and afraid, we would like to place in a home that will give her time and patience to adjust and find her way.  She is a beautiful dog and will be a wonderful companion to the right person or family.  

Tiki is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  Her adoption fee is $450
