Micah is a papillon mix, about 2 years old and only 9 pounds!  Micah was found as a stray locally, tied up in an alley, covered in fleas.  The wonderful people that found him, cleaned him up and tried to find his family but no one came forward.  So Micah became a Pixie!

Micah came to us needing a name and his foster mom thought he was so pretty he needed a special name!  Well, there was nothing prettier than Micah Hyde's Pick 6 in the KC game in her opinion so that was easy!  

Micah is just a lovable little lap dog - he is so happy to sit in his foster mom's lap and get lots of pets!  He is a smart little dog that listens well and picked up his foster home's routine easily.  He likes to go for walks and does well on a leash.  Micah is still working on his housetraining skills but we think once he has all the focus on him, it won't be too long for him to catch on.  He has a fully fenced yard in his foster home and he enjoys being outside in it.  He does fine in a crate or gated in a room.  Micah is good with other dogs but he sticks up for himself if they get too bossy or in his face.  We have not had him around kids in his foster home but we think he will be fine.  Micah is not clingy to his foster mom, he loves attention but is happy in a cozy little bed on his own too.  He has gone a few car rides and has done well, but wants to be in his foster mom's lap so he needs to be secured in a car seat or harness.    Micah does have a longer coat that will require regular brushing and grooming!  

Micah is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  His adoption fee is $450
