Little Lucy is looking for someone to yell, “Lucy, I’m home!” She came to us from Texas because her family no longer felt that they had time for her. Lucy is a sweet little lady that just loves to cuddle, dance for a treat, and bury herself under the blankets to go to bed!

Lucy recently had to have several teeth removed but it has not had an effect on her appetite! She loves her treats. It takes a few days for Lucy to warm up to new people but once she does, she’ll love you forever.

Lucy is learning that taking a walk is enjoyable and fun! She is mostly housebroken but has occasional accidents. She does the “outside” dance and spins around when she has to go but she isn’t vocal about it so you have to pay attention.

Lucy would be great as either an only dog or with another older dog that shares similar qualities. Puppies and young children would not make Lucy comfortable. If you have regular visitors, she will eventually warm up to them but she would prefer a quiet, peaceful home to call her own.

Lucy is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  She also has had a dental done while in NY!  Her adoption fee is $400
