McKenzie is a a 5 month old terrier mix - most likely with chihuahua!  She is a Texas girl, ready for her NY home to find her!

McKenzie is a smart and active little dog!  She is a busy little girl that loves to play and explore.  She loves to be outside and is usually the last one in!  She is doing well with her housetraining but she is still a baby and will need continued training in her foster home.  She gets along well with any dog and is always ready to play!  She likes it when it gets rough and she can wrestle.  Cats are no issue.  She loves people and loves to kiss and jump in their laps.  She has a good amount of energy!   She has a fully fenced yard in her foster home and has not really been exposed to a leash.  McKenzie does fine in a crate. She will whine initially but she does settle in.  She loves toys and chewies.  A typical little puppy, she will be a great addition to any home!

McKenzie is spayed, up to date with vaccines, flea/worm treated and microchipped.   Her adoption fee is $400

  • If you would like to adopt one of our "Pixies" you must fill out an application- it is the first step in the adoption process and we cannot move forward without a completed application.   
 
  • We initially contact potential adopters via email with any additional questions or concerns. Please check your spam/junk folders.  

  •  We will call your vet's office for a reference - you must call them and give permission to release information to Pixie Mamas Rescue.

  • All animals breeds & ages are 'to our best our knowledge'

  • We DO NOT adopt out of state (including Canada) OR over 1 1/2 hours away from Buffalo, NY. NO exceptions. Please do not apply. (Any travel IN our adoption area is at the discretion of the foster home.)
