Vera Bradley is just a patchwork of beauty!  She came to us from a hoarding case in Texas with some of her siblings/family.  Vera is a chihuahua mix, probably with some merle dachshund in there!  She is 2 years old and weighs 8 pounds.

Vera Bradley is an unusual looking dog!  She has 2 bright blue eyes but one is significantly smaller.  It is genetic, not causing her any pain or loss of eyesight.  We think it makes her look way cooler than most dogs though!  Vera Bradley is very friendly and loves to be held!  Her tail is always wagging, especially when she is in your lap.  She is just so happy to be loved!  She is very good with other dogs and loves to play.  Running and wrestling in the yard are her favorite things right next to sleeping under blankets!  She is a typical little dog, cozying up to other dogs to keep warm.  Vera is doing well on her housetraining but will need some additional training.  She does go outside and knows what to do but will also use potty pads in the home.  She is fine with cats but has not been around kids in her foster home.  We do not think it will be an issue as long as they are a bit older and respectful of her size.  Vera has not been introduced to a leash yet so we think a fully fenced yard is the best option for her at this time (no invisible fences).  Vera is a great little lady that will be happy to keep you company outside as you garden or grill and will keep you warm on the couch when it's TV time!  What a great combination!

Vera Bradley is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  Her adoption fee is $400
