Slim and Shorty are chiweenie brothers that came to us from Texas.  They are 9 months old.  The boys were dumped at a shelter and needed a rescue to help them find their forever homes!  

The boys are friendly, happy dogs.  They love to be outside and will sunbath when it's not raining lol.  They are playful and full of fun!  They are good with other dogs and would love another playful one in their future home but it is not required.  They are crate trained and working on housetraining - they are still just babies and recently neutered.  But they are getting the concept and will do better when the focus is just on them in their forever home.  They are not leash trained yet but with a little time and training, will surely pick it up.  They have a fully fenced yard in their foster home which they love.  Although they have not been around children while in foster care, we do not think there will be any problems as long as the kids are gentle with dogs.  

Shorty is just as his name describes - short to the ground!  He loves a soft bed to curl up in!  Shorty's favorite things are chewies and loves to carry one around.  He will tell the other dogs it's his and to leave him alone!  He is obedient and listens well to his foster mom.  Very food motivated and loves cheese!  

Shorty is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm. His adoption fee is $400
