This handsome fellow is Toby!  He is a cairn terrier mix, around 2 or 3 years old and 15 pounds.  Toby came to us from Texas where he was found as a stray and never claimed at the shelter.  We knew Toby was a Pixie the minute we saw him!

Toby is such a nice dog!  He is always under his foster mom's chair when she is working.  He lays right next to her feet so he knows when she gets up and he is right behind her!  Toby is good with other dogs but would not require one in his future home.  He can be a cat chaser though.  He has not been tested with kids in his foster home so at this point we would have to say older kids (10+) would be best.   Toby walks nicely on a leash and is also crate trained.  He is doing well on his housetraining - he was recently neutered so we think it won't be long.  He marked a few times in his foster home which is not unusual and his future home will need to expect some accidents and additional training.  He has a fully fenced yard in his foster home so that is a help.  He rides nicely in a car and enjoyed his first trip to Tim Hortons!  Toby enjoyed getting a bath and being brushed!  He loves to get attention and his foster mom likes to tell him how handsome he is!  

Toby is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  His adoption fee is $450
