OHHHH Sally!  Are you looking for the perfect dog…..look no further!  What a gem this girl is.  Sally is an approximate one year old Shepherd mix (that’s what is on her paperwork) and full grown at just 25 lbs.  She was sent to a shelter in Texas and found to be Heartworm positive.  I am not sure why anyone would give up this dog as it is very obvious someone spent time with her and loved her very much. 

Sally has an amazing disposition.   She is just wonderful with other dogs, she is everyone’s best friend and even the timid dogs fall in love with her.  She is outgoing and fun and just a joy to be around.  She loves all people, including kids and is very friendly and kind to everyone.  She is housebroken with a doggy door and fenced in yard but we always say to expect accidents with a new home and routine.  She can walk on a leash and is perfect in the car.  She has not been tested with cats but we don’t anticipate any issues.  

Sally is crate trained but after weeks in a crate for heartworm treatment she is basically “over it” and is starting to be hesitant about going and staying in there now.  Who can blame her. Before this she went in just fine and didn’t mind short periods.  We are sure that the more she is allowed out the less upset she will be about going in it.  Sally is so beautiful, she has a nice thick coat but she does shed and she does need to be brushed regularly so please take that into account before you apply. 

We are pretty confident Sally would thrive in just about any environment.  We would love for her to have a furry playmate in her new home but it is not required.  If you love Sally as much as we do please apply.  We cant imagine she will be in rescue long. 

Sally is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped and flea/worm treated.  Her adoption fee is $450
