Little Lady Duchess is a 1(ish) year old yorkshire terrier mix.  She has a lovely soft coat that does not seem to need a lot of maintenance.  Duchess is originally from Texas and she is ready to start her new life in NY.  

Duchess is full of fun and play.  She likes other dogs and is very playful!  Her fun loving spirit is contagious and she loves to get the other dogs to chase her in the yard.  She loves to be outside and is getting used to this Buffalo weather!  She can be outside for a bit and then she needs to come in and warm up but will go right back out once she is.   She loves toys and balls.  Duchess lives with other dogs and has no issues.  She is good with cats but will bark on occasion just to see if she can get them to run so she can chase them around.  It doesn't always work out for her lol.  She has not been around kids in her foster home but if they are respectful of her, we don't expect issues.  Duchess was initially nervous and shy for her foster mom but she traveled a long way and her life was turned upside down when she was disgarded by her family.  There may be an adjustment period for her in her new home as she gets used to  a new routine.  She is good at going potty outside but will need additional training.  She does use pee pads in her foster home too.  She is crate trained and we just started working on her leash skills.  Duchess loves to take naps with her foster mom and tries to weasle her way into her bed at night!  

Duchess is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg for heartworm.  Her adoption fee is $400
