Chihuahua / Mixed (short coat) : : Male (not neutered, but will be before adoption) : : Baby : : Small
Learn more about the Chihuahua. Pixie Mamas would like to introduce our “American Icon” litter. What is an American Icon? Someone you know by just a first name. Someone instantly recognized across the country – and the world. Someone who has excelled in a particular field and has reached the top of the ladder. Trust us, you know one when you see one! This litter was found with their mom roaming the streets of Texas – thin, weak, and infested with sarcoptic mange. This is a very painful condition, usually found in wild fox and coyotes. It was a long, hard road for them to get healthy again. Weeks of special baths. Multiple skin treatments to kill the parasites that had overtaken their tiny bodies. This litter is a group of fighters and after months of battle, our vets have deemed them healthy & fit for adoption. They are ready for their forever homes!
“I’m gonna make him an offer he can’t refuse” - Vito Corleone, “The Godfather”, 1972
Pixie Mamas is gonna make YOU an offer you can’t refuse – this gorgeous fur baby is Marlon Brando. His namesake won 2 Oscars. He was ranked the 4th Greatest Movie Star of All Time by the American Film Institute. He was included as one of the 100 Most Important People of the Century by Time Magazine in 1999 – designated the “Actor of the Century”. Mighty big shoes to fill. Can our Marlon Brando measure up? Well, he certainly has the acting chops for it! Our Brando is dramatic, a true student of stage and screen. He lives big and he loves large. He operates on full power all the time. He wants to eat first. He wants the best spot on the couch. He wants the biggest toys with the loudest squeakers. He wants the shiniest ID tag with his name written in all CAPITAL LETTERS, hanging from the fanciest collar. Everything must be fitting to the level of stardom he has achieved in his short time on this earth. When Brando has a point to make – you WILL listen. And he will continue to make his point until he feels he has been properly heard and recognized. When you come home from work, Brando is right there with a list of his current needs, as well as a list of everything his brothers and sisters did wrong while you were out. He knows he is the best of the bunch – the smartest, the best looking, the most affectionate, the most talented – and he takes every opportunity to make sure you also are well aware of this. Since he struggles to use his “inside voice” when debating, Brando is not suited to apartment living. He is by far the most affectionate baby in the bunch. He loves people. Loves to be held and cuddled and pampered. There is so much joy in his tiny body! Brando has a fenced in yard at his foster mom’s house and loves to be outside. He is trying to copy the older dogs when they go potty outside and is starting to put the pieces together, but he is not there yet. He is also learning potty pads during the day while his foster mom works. He is trying, but there will most likely be a few accidents as he adjusts to a new home and new routine. As a puppy he is blank slate – he is a sponge absorbing everything around him at all times. He will need training to be his best self. Please be patient while he is learning – he is still a baby. He needs love, attention, and patience to be successful. Brando is up to date with age appropriate vaccines, flea/worm treated and microchipped and has been seen by a vet. We are unable to get him neutered prior to adoption. Therefore we are requiring a spay/neuter contract to be signed at the time of adoption (the cost of his neuter is included in the adoption fee and fully explained in the contract). Brando's appt is scheduled for December 14th. His adoption fee is $400
