Marquis de Lafayette (Hamilton!) aka Marky is available for adoption!  This little guy was at our local city shelter in desperate need of some medical care.  Well we just love helping our local dogs  so we took him in to get the help he needed.  Marky is about 6 years old and weighs 9 pounds.  He is clearly a poodle but has a tail so we are not sure if he is a mix or it was just not docked. 

Marky is a playful fun little dog.  He loves to play and run in the yard with the other dogs in his foster home!  He loves being near his foster mom and is always close by unless he is out playing.  Marky is crate trained and will go in without a fuss.  He is leash trained too and enjoys going for walks.  He was recently neutered and is working on his housetraining.  He has come leaps and bounds in his foster home but will still need work and training when he goes to a new home.  Please expect accidents.  Marky rides nicely in the car.  He has no issues with the cats in his foster home.  Although he has not been tested with kids, we do not think there will be an issue as long as they are respectful to him.  Marky is like most poodles - active, lots of energy and does act his age!  He does have a big bark too so apartments may not be ideal for him. Marky has been recently groomed and will need regular grooming throughout his life so please keep that in mind.  

Marky is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  He also had a dental which he needed badly!   Marky's adoption fee is $400.
