Pretty little Sophie is ready for adoption!  Sophie is a tiny little chihuahua, about 4 years old and just about 6 pounds.  She is a Texas transplant -- just as sweet as she is pretty!

Sophie is such a nice little dog and we are so lucky to have her in our rescue! Sophie is a little lap dog - she absolutely loves to cuddle up with her foster mom and has even snuck into her bed a few times!  She is good with other little dogs (no large breed dogs please due to her size) and is often snuggling with them in the dog beds.  She has no issues with cats.  Sophie has not been tested with kids in her foster home but we suspect if they are older (10+) and respectful, she will be fine. Sophie is doing really well with housetraining and enjoys the fully fenced yard she has!  BUT she is a chihuahua and hasn't seen a Buffalo winter yet.  She will use pee pads too.  She has not had much exposure to a leash it seems so a fully fenced yard is preferred (no electric or invisible fences).  She does bark at strangers in her foster home so apartments would not be ideal for Miss Sophie.  Sophie is a gentle little dog and would like to be in her new home, under some warm blankets soon!

Sophie is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  Her adoption fee is $400
