Learn more about the Labrador Retriever. Learn more about the Dalmatian. Some of you who follow us regularly may remember our sweet Dot. She was adopted out back in April at 4 months old. Sadly, she proved to be a little more than her new family and their current dog could handle. They worked hard to train her but with small children she was too much energy.
Dot was renamed Coco but doesn’t really answer to either right now! She is a very active 7 month old lab/Dalmatian mix puppy. She loves to run around and play with her foster siblings. Dot is unaware of her size and would benefit from an experienced owner and could learn from another young, bigger, active, and confident dog. She could be in a home with children who are 12+ and would love an active family. She likes going for walks and would eventually make a great running partner. She definitely needs a large yard with a 6 foot fence (because she will jump a 4 foot one!) to help work off all that energy.
Her former family taught her “sit”, “down”, and “paw”. Dot is housebroken but, of course, accidents are expected with puppies. She needs continued training to curb her counter surfing and other normal puppy issues. Dot is very food motivated which helps with her training but is protective of her food and treats around other dogs. She is a very smart girl but also a bit stubborn.
She loves to be where you are and enjoys being outside. Dot requires a home with patience and the ability to continue her formal training. If you think you can fit the bill for Dot, let us know! Dot is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg for heartworm. Her adoption fee is $400
