Griffy is now available for adoption!  To no fault of his own, Griffy was returned to Pixie Mamas after 9 years of being with his people.  Sometimes life happens and there is nothing you can do about it - we are grateful Griffy came back to us though so we can find him his new family.  Griffy is 9 years old, weighs 18 pounds and is a Brussels Griffon mix.  His coat is very soft.  He may have some Shih Tzu or Lhasa in there.  Griffy is just Griffy - a handsome fellow!

Griffy is pretty much trained  - all the hard work has been done!  He is housetrained and leash trained.  He loves to go for walks.  He also loves car rides.  He is working on his crate training but really does not need to be in one.  Griffy is a bit of a cat chaser though.  He is learning to live with other dogs again and does well until it comes to toys and chewies.  He likes his stuff to just be his - he has met his match with some strong personalities in his foster house that are teaching him to share.  Griffy does bark at other dogs when he is out in public but that's as far as it goes.  Older kids should be fine with him.  Griffy is friendly to people but is hesitant when new people try to pick him up (we saw this at the vet) so he will need a little time to build up trust.  Griffy still has lots of energy and is active.  He also likes to be a couch potato and just chill out.  He does bark when his person leaves initially but settles down after a bit.  He always wants to be with his person and is a little shadow.  

Griffy is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped and tested neg. for heartworm.  His adoption fee is $275
