Learn more about the Dachshund.

The Delightful Dina is now available for adoption!  She came to us from Texas - unbeknownst to us, pregnant!  She had 7 healthy little pups and is now ready to say goodbye to them and hello to a new life.  Dina is a dachshund mix and weighs about 22 pounds.

Dina is a happy, friendly girl.  She loves attention!  Dina is good with other dogs and loves to play with her puppies.  She is a bit greedy and becomes a toy and chewie hoarder - so you will have to clean out her space a lot.  She will chase the house cats in her foster home and also bark at them but that's as far as it goes.  She has started walking on a leash and is doing great.  Dina appears to be house trained but please expect accidents and some adjustment time.  Change is hard!  Dina has a fully fenced yard in her foster home that she loves - she really loves to be outdoors soaking up all the Buffalo weather!  She is crate trained but often left free in her foster home.  We have discovered (the hard way) that Dina is a bit of an escape artist.  We were hoping her roaming days were over after she left Texas!  So because of this, we are requiring a fully fenced yard for her (no invisible fences), preferably wood stockade.  Can't be too cautious!  Dina will make a wonderful addition to any home - she has been a delight in her foster home!

Dina is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  Her adoption fee is $350
