Sweet Senior Alert!  Please meet Sheena - she is about 10 years old and 20 pounds.  She was found as a stray in the City of Buffalo and never claimed.  She was not having a good time at the shelter so we quickly picked her up and got her into a foster home!  Pixie Mamas loves senior dogs! 

Sheena is a well-behaved little lady.  She was clearly someone's dog at some point and it shows.  We often wonder what led her to be abandoned but we know we will find her a forever home.  She is nicely housetrained and leash trained. She loves to go for walks and car rides.  She is crate trained too but we do not put her in it.  She sleeps on her little bed near her foster mom and is quite content.  Sheena is not a fan of pushy little puppies or high energy dogs.  She growls to warn them but that is all she does.  They do not take the hint and it has never escalated.  She also growls over her food bowl but again, that is all she does.  We think older kids if any would be better.  Our ideal idea of a home for her would be a quieter one, with another older or calm dog if any, an owner that will take her for walks and car rides and just love her for the rest of her life!  That should be easy to find!  

Sheena is now spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated, tested neg. for heartworm and has been given a much needed dental. Her adoption fee is only $200 - please apply online if you think you are the right kind of home for Sheena.
