Who doesn't love a Chug!  Austin is a 6 year old chihuahua/pug mix, about 11 pounds.  He came to us from Texas to find his new family in NY!  He loves NY so far!

Austin is quite a character as most Chugs are.  He is leash trained and crate trained.  He is working hard on his housetraining and with a little time and patience will pick up a good routine in his new home.  Austin is very good with other dogs, cats and kids.  Although he is nervous when he first meets people, he warms up quickly.  He has had a lot of change in his life recently so you have to give him a break, right?  He loves to go for walks and is quite the cuddler!  Austin's foster in Texas said he was an escape artist so he is on a tie out within a fenced yard in his current foster home.  A fenced yard is not required if he is taken out on a leash.  

Austin is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated.  Austin tested positive for heartworm in Texas and completed treatment there but will need to remain on heartworm preventative for the rest of his life.  Austin's adoption fee is $350.
