Veda is a puppy-like, playful girl who just wants to have FUN. She was found running down a country road in Texas overheating and exhausted. The kind person who found her took great care of her until she could travel to NY to be a Pixie! Veda is about 1 year old and weighs about 12 pounds. She is a scruffy terrier mix of cuteness! Veda is high energy and needs an outlet for that. Currently she goes for 1 walk a day and plays for hours on end with her 3 fur foster brothers. She could also make a great running partner or would have a ton of fun at a dog park! Veda is very easy going, nothing seems to bother her. If she’s too rough with her fur brothers and they correct her, she rolls right on her back to show she meant no harm. If one of them tries to take a toy she’s playing with, she just finds a new one. She’s also great with all new people she meets, always willing to trade kisses for belly rubs. She’s housetrained (if you learn her potty cues), and fantastic in the crate. Currently, she stays in her crate while her foster mom is at work and she doesn’t make a peep. She loves to go for walks and does well on a leash. There aren’t children or cats present in her foster home, so they’re unknown. She loves dogs up to 30lbs, anything larger than that is scary for her. Veda is a very special little girl, who deserves the best home!
Veda is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworm. Her adoption fee is $350, please apply on our website!

We initially contact potential adopters via email with any additional questions or concerns. Please check your spam/junk folders.
We will call your vet's office for a reference - you must call them and give permission to release information to Pixie Mamas Rescue.

We DO NOT adopt out of state (including Canada) OR over 1 1/2 hours away from Buffalo, NY. NO exceptions. Please do not apply. (Any travel IN our adoption area is at the discretion of the foster home.)
