Scruffy boy Benny came to us from a local shelter along with his brother Mojo.  There were too many pets in the home and some had to be surrendered.  Benny and Mojo were not doing well in the shelter environment and we could not say no when asked for help.  Benny is about 1 year old and weighs 12 pounds.  He is a Shih Tzu mix.  

Benny is a velcro dog!  He is anywhere his foster mom is and he dances around vying for her attention.  He is not crate or leash trained but his foster mom is working on the crate with him.  He has a fenced yard in his foster home and we are asking for one in his new home.  He likes to be outside, zooming around and playing with his brother.  He is working on his housetraining but there will be additional time and training needed in his new home.  He is very smart and eager to make you happy.  He has no interest in the cats that live with him.  We have not tested with kids but do not see any issues at this point.  He is quite bonded to his brother but he is young and will adjust to life without him.  Although not required, we would be happy if Benny and Mojo could be adopted together.  With a little more training, Benny Boy is going to be a great family dog!

Benny is now neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  His adoption fee is $350.  Please apply on our website if you think you have a home for Benny!
