The wait is over - Sheldon is now available for adoption! Sheldon is an 8 year old yorkie that was surrendered to a local shelter due to the impending birth of a grandchild. Sheldon is about 7 pounds.

Sheldon is a pretty chill little dude. His most favorite thing is to be outside and we are looking for a home for him that has a yard and a fence. He loves getting belly rubs and butt scratches too! He walks nicely on a leash and is crate trained. Sheldon does fine with other dogs - he really does not have much interest in them but doesn't want a pushy puppy in his face either. He showed no interest in cats either. Older kids would be fine (13+) - he doesn't want to be man handled by the little ones. Sheldon will need to be groomed regularly so please take that into consideration.

Sheldon is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm. His adoption fee is $350.

If you would like to adopt one of our "Pixies" you must fill out an application- it is the first step in the adoption process and we cannot move forward without a completed application.

We initially contact potential adopters via email with any additional questions or concerns. Please check your spam/junk folders.

We will call your vet's office for a reference - you must call them and give permission to release information to Pixie Mamas Rescue.

All animals breeds & ages are 'to our best our knowledge'

We DO NOT adopt out of state (including Canada) OR over 1 1/2 hours away from Buffalo, NY. NO exceptions. Please do not apply. (Any travel IN our adoption area is at the discretion of the foster home.)
