Duke is a 5-year-old English Bulldog/Beagle mix.  He is about 35 pounds.  Duke was adopted out 4 years ago but had to be returned due to his owner's health.  He had a nice family that loved him and it shows in Duke.    

Duke is the complete deal!  He is practically a plug in dog!  He is leash, crate and house trained and also knows some basic commands.  (Please expect accidents as he learns a new routine) Duke is good with other dogs and does not have any issues with the cats in his foster home.  Kids are fine too.  Duke likes to go for car rides and sits shot gun.  He is always up to take a walk too.  Duke loves to be outside in the yard, he is happy to just soak up the sun.  A fenced yard and another dog would be nice but not required.  Duke originally was a puppy mill dog and we still seem some residual effects of this.  He can be skittish with new people, fast movements or loud noises.  Duke is wherever his foster mom is - he is her shadow.  He is a gentle loving dog that would love a family to call his own!

Duke is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  His adoption fee is $350 - please apply on our website if you are interested!
