Queenie is a gorgeous Anatolian Shepherd/Lab mix.  She is 3 months old and already 22 pounds.  We expect Queenie to be an XL dog - Anatolians can grow to be over 100 pounds!

Queenie is very sweet and affectionate and very playful too.  She is very good with other dogs and likes our house cats too.  She loves to be outside!  She is working hard but is not housebroken - she lived most of her life outside so she is learning what being in a house is like now.  Things are starting to click for her though and she is showing progress.  Please expect accidents and additional training.  Queenie is crate trained but not leash trained (she has a fully fenced yard in her foster home).  Since Queenie is going to be a big dog, we will not adopt to an apartment.  Please make sure you have the time and space for an XL breed dog.  The breed is a working dog so they will need plenty of exercise and jobs to keep them busy.  They will not be happy sitting in a crate for extended periods of time everyday waiting for you to come home.  We also strongly suggest potential adopters do their research on the breed and to expect to take their new puppies for formal training to make them well behaved adult dogs.
